 Triad EAR 2.0 Announcement Minimize

The Triad EAR (Enterprise Architect Roundtable) has evolved into EAR 2.0.  The new program is a TEAM SYSTEM TechnoStudy Group based on the WROX Visual Studio 2005 Team System book.  This is a one year study of Microsoft Visual Studio Team Edition.  We will be looking at the full development life cycle of software development and project management.

Space is limited to 12 people and only delicated Senior Developer or Software Architects will be accepted into the group. If you are interested in becoming a member of this group, please register on this site and send email to mwharton@whartoncomputer.com with one page cover letter explaining why you believed you should be part of Triad EAR.  Meeting will be held at 1008 Brookstown Ave, Winston Salem.

There are no fees to become part of this group and the first group to complete this study will have the honor of being in the 2006-2007 Triad EAR Class.


      

 Welcome to Triad Enterprise Architect Roundtable Minimize
The Enterprise Architect Roundtable is a high energy group of consultants that meet twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesday of each mont with the purpose of sharing information. The round table will be a place where consultants can bounce off ideas and strategies to help them do a better job.

Meeting agenda is as follows:

  • 6:15-7:00 The Gathering, General Discussions and Brainstorming
  • 7:00-8:00 Team System Chapter Demo and Discussion
  • 8:00-9:00 Volunteer Presentation of New Product or Ideas
  • 9:00-whenever  Wrap Up and Final Fact Finding

Some of the topics that we will study include:

  • Software Design Patterns
  • Agile Methods
  • SQL Server 2005
  • Visual Studio 2005 and Team Systems
  • Developing Secure Applications
  • Enterprise Solution Patterns using Microsoft. NET
  • Integrating Servers such as BizTalk, Application Center, etc

This group is concurrently limited to 12 members. Group members are preferred to have the following to be accepted into this group.

  • MCSD, MCSE or MCDBA Certification
  • Four or more years of work experience in software development, database administration or system engineering
  • Expertise in some other areas such as BizTalk, Content Management, Application, Commerce or Share Point Server
